1.Licencia nautica (LN) (formerly titulín)
You may operate recreational craft up to 6 metres in length with motor and sail, and without power limit. In addition, they may also govern nautical motorbikes without power limitation. They may sail up to 2 miles from the coast.
2. Basic Navigation Skipper (PNB)
They may steer pleasure boats up to 8 metres in length if they are sailing boats and up to 7.5 metres in length if they are motor boats, with the appropriate engine power. In addition, they may also steer jet skis.
3. Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo (PER) (Recreational Boats Skipper)
Steering of recreational craft, motor or motor and sail, up to 12 metres in length and with adequate engine power, for navigations between the coast and the 12-mile line parallel to the coast. As well as inter-island navigation in the Balearic and Canary Islands.
4. Yacht Skipper
Steering of recreational vessels, motor or motor and sail, up to 20 mts. in length and adequate engine power, for navigations between the coast and the 60-mile line parallel to the coast.
5. Yacht Captain
Steering of recreational craft, motor or motor and sail, without any limitation whatsoever.
