It is a card that consists of a cover or gray cardboard in the form of a triptych and 16 pages, where, in different languages (Spanish, German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian) contain the personal data of the holder and the permits he/she has.
What is this license for?
The international license is necessary to be able to drive temporarily in the territory of countries that are not members of the European Union and that have not adopted the license model provided for in the Geneva or Vienna Conventions.
How long does it last?
This type of license is valid for 1 year and is not valid for driving in the issuing country.
How can I obtain it?
In our center we can arrange it for you. We only need your valid National Identity Card, a valid driver's license, a recent passport photo and a form that we will provide you with.
From Centre Medic Forum, your center to renew your driving license in Barcelona, we inform you that another option to obtain it is to make an appointment at the DGT and there you will present the necessary documentation together with the payment of a fee.
