The app for carrying your driver's license and paying fines
This app, designed by the DGT, has accumulated more than 2.5 million downloads since it was launched more than a year ago.
The application allows you to have your digital driver's license, pay fines, change your address, request a vehicle report, among other services.
The DGT assures that the electronic documentation has “the same legal validity” as the physical document, but only in national territory.
However, it recommends carrying the permits in physical format, since their verification on the cell phone can only be carried out at the moment, by means of a QR code, by the agents of the Traffic Department of the Civil Guard.
